The Sea Cadets is a national organisation offering young people across the UK amazing opportunities for personal development - by learning new skills and working in teams at sea and on land. The Gosport branch is based at Berkeley Hall in Cooperage Green. Tel: 02392 580772.

ASTO - The Association of Sail Training Organisations - is the UK's National Sail Training Organisation. Our membership is made up of more than 30 not-for-profit organizations that operate more than 50 Sail Training vessels around the UK. HQ is at Unit 10 in North Meadow.Tel: 02392 503222.

Ocean Youth Trust South is charity which uses Adventure Under Sail as a personal development opportunity for young people aged 12-25, taking them to sea in our 72-foot yacht John Laing. They sail with around 450 young people each year. Roughly two-thirds will be disadvantaged or vulnerable in some way. Tel: 02392 602278

Square Pegs Charity celebrates people's quirky side and their individuality.  Their community projects encompass all ages, abilities and aptitudes, through free and/or heavily subsidised arts, crafts workshops, clubs and events for the whole community, primarily encouraging social inclusion.
